OAK HILL — Oak Hill High School welcomed several other local wrestling teams to the Lilly Center Wednesday for a competition.

The evening offered a good opportunity for the Red Devils, the Fayetteville Pirates and other local squads to sharpen their skills for region competition this week.

“We were very happy with our match with Winfield,” said Fayetteville coach Wayne Yonkelowitz. “We only lost because of forfeits. Head to head, we beat them, but overcoming 42 points because of seven forfeits is very hard to do.”

Fayetteville scoring was as follows:

— Winfield 56, Fayetteville 15

— Fayetteville 30, Richwood 6

— Fayetteville 39, Wyoming East 0.
