Blythe lifts Tech softball squad to twin-bill win

In earlier action, Tech dropped a pair of games to visiting Glenville State College, 10-4 and 12-2.

Lively had a strong day at the plate for Tech, going 3-for-5 including a two-run homer in game one against the Pioneers. Lively produced three RBIs and scored twice.

Wilson also registered a home run in game one, her second in as many games. The freshman produced one RBI and a run scored. On the mound, Wilson (0-5) pitched 6.0 innings in game one for the loss, striking out six and walking six while giving up six hits and four earned runs.

In addition to fanning three batters over 4.0 innings in game two, Boggs (0-4) went 1-for-3 at the plate, scoring one run for the Golden Bears.

Huck had three hits to go with two RBIs.
