Liberty remained perfect on the 2013 baseball season, going on the road to pick up a five-inning win over Fayetteville Saturday.
Jake Lacek collected the win for Liberty (3-0), allowing just five hits over five innings. He was helped at the plate by Austin Lyons, who finished 3-for-5 with three runs scored and a pair of RBIs. Seth Trent, Joey Lecek, Dylan Kell and Matt Bailey picked up two hits each.
Aaron Krise absorbed the loss for Fayetteville (5-3).
