Christian Hedinger got the win and had two hits in Wyoming East’s 5-3 baseball victory over Oak Hill.

For East, Zach Whitten went 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and two stolen bases while Chase Presley was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.

Oak Hill’s Austin Nolan went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and RBI. Daniel Pritt was 2-for-4.

Liberty remained perfect on the 2013 baseball season, going on the road to pick up a five-inning win over Fayetteville Saturday.

Jake Lacek collected the win for Liberty (3-0), allowing just five hits over five innings. He was helped at the plate by Austin Lyons, who finished 3-for-5 with three runs scored and a pair of RBIs. Seth Trent, Joey Lecek, Dylan Kell and Matt Bailey picked up two hits each.

Aaron Krise absorbed the loss for Fayetteville (5-3).

Krise scored two runs, and Jake Holland had two RBIs and a pair of doubles for the Pirates.

Lena Hayworth singled on the first pitch she saw, driving in two runs, and Audrey Higgins had an RBI single for PikeView (4-3).

Kaitlyn Sisler took the loss for Fayetteville (3-5), allowing five hits and four walks while striking out four batters.
