WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS —
The Throttle Throbs Car Club brought its 2013 season to a close at the Fall Fling Festival at White Sulphur Springs. Thanks to the club sponsors and participants, the show was a success.
Billy Humphrey of Danese received the Greenbrier Motors Best MOPAR trophy. He had a Dodge Daytona monster truck.
Brient Lynch of White Sulphur Springs received the Bill Lewis Best Chevrolet trophy. He had a 1964 Chevy C-10.
Roscoe Smith of Covington, Va., received the Colonial Ford Best Ford trophy. He had a 1995 Ford F-150.
All proceeds from this year’s shows will go to scholarships for students at Greenbrier East and Greenbrier West High schools. The scholarships are in memory of Greg Carter, a Greenbrier County fireman who lost his life in the line of duty.
