Mallory Stonestreet scored 10 points as the Patriot girls rolled to their third win of the season.

Madison Syner and Emily Carte added eight points apiece. Syner also had six rebounds, while Jessica Fox and Haley Nickell both grabbed seven boards.

Heather Nicewander led Montcalm with eight points.

Trail (3-2) will host Oak Hill on Jan. 3.

The Oak Hill girls poured in 39 second half-points to cruise past visiting Liberty for their second win in a row.

Alyssa Barron led the Red Devils with 13 points, while Savannah Keffer and Caelea Teel added 12 points apiece.

Stacy Williams led the Raiders with nine points.

Oak Hill (3-3) plays Shady Spring Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Wildcat Invitational at Meadow Bridge High School.

Midland Trail 52

Fayetteville 51

Seth Crosier nailed a jumper as time expired to lift the Midland Trail boys past Fayetteville Wednesday at the Fayette County Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building.

The Pirates trailed by 14 points with just over four minutes left in the contest and made a furious run down the stretch to take the lead just prior to Crosier’s heroics.

Crosier finished with a game-high 15 points, while Rickie Carter added 12 points and Collin Carte scored 11.

Will Dooley led the Pirates with 13 points and Tasheem Saunders had 10.

Fayetteville (0-3) hosts Greenbrier West Saturday. Midland Trail (2-0) travels to Nicholas County Friday.
