FHS netters slip by Wyoming East

— Fayetteville posted a 3-1 win over Wyoming East in high school volleyball on Oct. 9. Game scores were 24-26, 25-22, 25-17 and 25-18.

Contributors for the Pirates during the match were: Hannah Samples, eight kills, one assist, 16 service points and 20 digs; Cassidy Bayes, 13 assists, eight service points and four digs; Jessica Brown, nine kills, three service points and 16 digs; Cassie Semple, seven kills, eight service points and nine digs; Maddie Pritt, seven kills, 12 assists, 11 service points and seven digs; Emily Akers, two kills, 12 service points and eight digs; and Ashton McKinney, one kill.

Fayetteville (14-8-2) plays again today at home versus Montcalm and Nicholas County.

Action begins at 6 p.m.
