A balanced scoring attack propelled the Collins Middle School Little Devils to a 6-0 shutout of Ansted Wednesday.
Andrew Hardman netted two goals, and Kevin Stanley, Blake Wingrove, Lilly Hines and Jared Richards had one apiece for Collins (7-0-2).
Wingrove and Richards both assisted on two goals.
Richards and Julia Ivey had two saves each.
Collins honored its eighth-graders at halftime.
“We will be sending 10 players on to high school next year,” said coach Jeff Jones. “I am extremely proud of them all, and we wouldn’t be having the results that we have this year if it wasn’t for their teamwork and dedication to the game that they show each and every week.”
The seventh win ties the record for most victories in a season for CMS soccer.
The Little Devils play at Shady Spring on Monday and at home on Oct. 17 against Bluefield.
