Meadow Bridge squads earn hoops victories

Class A No. 11 Meadow Bridge used a strong second half — outscoring Class AAA Oak Hill 38-22 — to defeat the Red Devils Thursday for its eighth win of the season.

Senior Caitlin White led the Wildcats (8-1) with a solid all-around performance, scoring 22 points, grabbing 15 rebounds and handing out eight assists.

Courtney Mullins added 18 points and Ally Redden scored 11 for Meadow Bridge.

Oak Hill’s Kaitlyn Goodman led all scorers with 28 points. Caelea Teel added nine.

Montcalm 42




Logan Pomeroy continued his hot shooting Wednesday to lead host Meadow Bridge past Montcalm 64-42.

Pomeroy scored 24 points for the Wildcats (4-4), while teammate Kaleb Farr added 18.

Josh Hamblin led Montcalm with 10 points and Tyler Goins had nine.
