The Renegades rallied to tie the score in the bottom of the sixth inning, then Ashton Lester drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth for Westside’s sixth straight win Thursday.
Cassadee Blankenship picked up her ninth win from the mound, smacked a triple and drove in one run. Taylor Grimmett added three hits and Stephanie Brown had two hits for Westside.
Kaitlyn Sisler had two hits for the Pirates, while Ashley Gilkerson, Morgan Funk and Chelby Dorsey each drove in one run.
