The Ansted girls posted the win on Jan. 7.
Ansted was led by M. Stonestreet and J. Wilson, who scored 12 points each. Other scorers were: K. Lesher, 2; H. Nickell, 3; and J. Nuckols, 3.
Jersey Thompson tallied 16 points to pace the Greyhounds. Others in the scoring column were: Paris Fairfax, 2; Taylor Oden, 3; and Halie Casto, 3.

The Greyhound girls romped in the Dec. 20 contest.
Jersey Thompson (18 points) and Ashton Taylor (13) provided double-digit scoring to spearhead the effort. Other VMS point-producers included: Taylor Oden, 3; Rachel Peal, 2; Paris Fairfax, 2; Nia Wallace, 4; and Heather Thompson, 2.
Hannan scorers were: J. McCoy, 3; L. Holley, 2; N. Hoffman, 5; and M. Waugh, 1.

Providing offense for the Greyhounds in the win over the Bulldogs were: Taylor Oden, 3; Rachel Peal, 2; Paris Fairfax, 7; and Jersey Thompson, 13.
Scoring for Van were: MJ White, 4; Brenna Workman, 4; Jordan Joseph, 4; and Haleigh Cook, 4.

John Marshall girls basketball and the WV Lady Rebels will once again ºhost the B&B Classic Middle School Girls Basketball Tournament on March 15-17 at the John Marshall High School gyms in Glen Dale.
Entry fee is $150, with a three-game guarantee. There will be three age divisions: 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade.
All teams (school, all-star, travel, club, AAU, etc.) are welcome.
