Upcoming games

— Due to the snow and the cancellation of a series with Galax, Va., the Oak Hill High boys last played on Jan. 22, a 67-37 win over Braxton County.

That, however, was supposed to end last night when the Red Devils were slated to play at Westside. Oak Hill will get real busy in the next few days, playing twice more this week and four times next week. Weather permitting, of course.

Following is a list of upcoming high school basketball games:

-- Thursday, Feb. 7 — Valley boys at Oak Hill, jayvee 5:45 p.m., 7:30 p.m.; Midland Trail boys at Nicholas County, 7:30 p.m.; Midland Trail girls at Fayetteville, 7:30 p.m.; Fayetteville boys vs. Man, WVHIT, 7:30 p.m.

-- Friday, Feb. 8 — Meadow Bridge boys vs. Paden City, WVHIT, Summersville, 8 p.m.; Valley boys vs. Buffalo or Richwood, WVHIT; Westside girls at Oak Hill, 6 p.m.; Buffalo girls at Midland Trail, 7:30 p.m.; Liberty girls at Meadow Bridge, 7 p.m.

-- Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9 — Fayetteville, Meadow Bridge, Midland Trail and Valley boys in West Virginia Hometown Invitational Tournament in Summersville

-- Saturday, Feb. 9 — Oak Hill boys at Princeton, 7:30 p.m.; Hundred girls at Meadow Bridge, 4 p.m.

-- Monday, Feb. 11 — Oak Hill girls at Princeton, 6:30 p.m.; Midland Trail boys at Greater Beckley Christian, 7:30 p.m.; Webster County girls at Midland Trail, 7:30 p.m.; Fayetteville girls at Meadow Bridge, 7 p.m.; Fayetteville boys at Montcalm, 7:30 p.m.

-- Tuesday, Feb. 12 — Oak Hill boys at Bluefield, 7:30 p.m.; Meadow Bridge boys at Midland Trail, 7:30 p.m.

-- Wednesday, Feb. 13 — Greenbrier West girls at Fayetteville, 7:30 p.m.; Fayetteville boys at Valley, 7:30 p.m.

-- Thursday, Feb. 14 — Shady Spring boys at Oak Hill (makeup), 7:30 p.m.

-- Friday, Feb. 15 — Wyoming East boys at Oak Hill, 7:30 p.m.

-- Saturday, Feb. 16 — Liberty boys at Oak Hill (makeup), jayvee noon, varsity 1:30 p.m.
