Josh Jones and Joey Re each scored 16 points as host Oak Hill beat Liberty Tuesday.

Jalen Jones and Ian Hunt tossed in nine points apiece for the Red Devils.

The Raiders got 10 from Trevor McGhee.

The Red Devils (3-4) visit Westside Friday.

The Valley Greyhounds raced out to a 27-7 first-quarter lead en route to defeating county rival Meadow Bridge.

Zac Warden blistered the nets for 32 points on a 13 of 17 field goal showing, while Raeshawn Breckenridge (seven rebounds) added 12 points and Druw Bowen (nine rebounds) scored 11 to lead the ’Hounds. Warden also cleared 13 rebounds and blocked several Meadow Bridge shots.

“We just didn’t have an answer for Warden,” said Meadow Bridge coach Mark Gladwell.

Henry Barron-Houchins handed out seven assists for Valley.

Logan Pomeroy scored 20 points to lead the host Wildcats.

Meadow Bridge (3-4) visits Richwood Friday, and Valley (7-1) hosts Buffalo the same night.

The Fayetteville girls jumped out to a 42-7 halftime lead and overwhelmed the Generals at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building Tuesday.

Avina Sedlock led the Pirates with 24 points and Kaitlyn Sisler added 10.

Maddie Pritt and Kathryn Peelish chipped in nine points apiece for Fayetteville.

Freshman Heather Nicewander led Montcalm with six points.

Fayetteville (5-4) hosts sectional rival Greenbrier West Friday.
