Avina Sedlock scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Pirates (6-4).

West got 16 points from Kristen Harris and 10 from Maddie Bridges.

The Pirates play at Valley tonight. This Saturday, they will entertain Sherman at the Fayette County Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building in the West Virginia Hometown Invitational Tournament. There will be a jayvee game at noon, followed by the varsity tilt at about 1 p.m.

Logan Pomeroy tossed in 20 points and Kaleb Farr added 14 to guide Meadow Bridge past Richwood Friday.

Pomeroy, who is averaging 22.4 points per game, has scored at least 20 points in seven of the Wildcats’ nine games this season.

Kyle Judy added eight markers for the Wildcats (5-4).

John Bard led the Lumberjacks (2-5) with 15, and Ben Weber added 13.
