Fayetteville (3-9) outscored Montcalm 36-27 in the second half to claim a 65-54 road victory Tuesday.

Ricky Meadows scored 14 for the Pirates, who won their third straight, while Will Fenton tallied 12 and Tasheem Saunders scored nine.

Montcalm’s top scorer was Jacob Lambert, who scored 15. Jacob Howard added 14.

Class AA No. 4 Bluefield got 12 points from Lykel Collier and 11 from Anthony Eades to pick up a road win over Class AAA Oak Hill Tuesday.

The Red Devils (5-6) were led by Jalen Jones, who had 18. Brother Josh Jones added nine.

Bluefield was victorious by a 75-29 verdict in the two teams’ first meeting this season.

Oak Hill hosted Shady Spring last night and will play at Liberty Friday.
