Buchanan qualifies for state golf event

Oak Hill High golfer Craig Buchanan is headed to the state tournament again.

In the Class AAA Region 3 championship Tuesday at Berry Hills Country Club, Buchanan fired an individual round of 76 to earn a qualifying berth for next week’s state golf event.

Princeton, led by Tyler Hillyer’s low round of 74, captured the team title with a score of 239, followed by Shady Spring with 244.

Oak Hill (250) placed fifth.
