Mountain State Wrestling plans show on Saturday

For The Tribune

OAK HILL — For the first time in over eight years, Mountain State Wrestling will offer a night of action in Oak Hill.

This Saturday, June 22, MSW stars will descend on the Historic Oak Hill School (former Oak Hill Elementary School) for an action-packed evening of seven matches.

The main event will be a triple threat match for the MSW heavyweight championship. The match will pit champion Ken Steel versus War Machine versus Frank “The Tank” Parker. According to MSW owner/CEO Leonard Sims, “All three are veterans of the sport (War Machine and Parker are both former MSW champs), and this should be a great match.”

In addition, the MSW tag team champions, “The American Psycho” Ryan Atterson and Scott Lee, will defend their belts against Raw Talent and O’Suji Synge.

Also appearing will be Oak Hill’s Cuban Assassin, Chris Keffer, Johnny Blast, Drake Tungsten and many more.

A special treat for the evening will feature appearances by “Kid Apollo” Waylon Payne and Coach (Jason) Blankenship.

A limited number of ringside tickets are available for $10. Those wishing ringside seats should contact Mountain State Wrestling on Facebook and let them know how many you want, and they can be picked up at the door.

General admission tickets can be bought for $8 at Active Fitness Center in Oak Hill or by contacting Coach Blankenship.

Matches begin at 7:30 p.m. at the center, which is located at 140 School Street.
