— The 11U New River Rapids baseball team was runner-up in the recent Nations Baseball Easter Rally in Christiansburg, Va. The Rapids had victories over the WV Sting and the Virginia Sliders en route to their second-place finish. The Rapids are sponsored by BB&T and Wild Blue Adventures.
