Teams busy as high school basketball season winds down

Josh Jones scored 16 points as Oak Hill rolled to the easy win at home Tuesday.

Dylan Gaudet led Buckhannon-Upshur with seven points.

The Red Devils took charge in the middle two quarters, outscoring the visitors 30-6.

Oak Hill (8-6) hosts Westside on Tuesday.

Raeshawn Breckenridge knocked down two 3-pointers, scoring a total of 20 points Thursday night to help the Class A No. 6 Greyhounds improve to 16-1 on the season.

Henry Barron-Houchins and Druw Bowen scored 15 points apiece for the ‘Hounds, while Zac Warden scored 10.

Gregory Brewer led the Tide with 15 points.

Valley will travel to Tug Valley Friday.

Webster County held Meadow Bridge to 13 points in the second half to pick up its fifth win in the last seven games Tuesday.

Dalton Davis led the Highlanders with 15 points and Robbie Cogar added 12.

Logan Pomeroy led the Wildcats (8-7) with 13 points. Jake Parker added nine points — all on 3-point goals.
