Caridi to speak in Charleston Aug. 1


— Award-winning sports broadcaster Tony Caridi is scheduled to speak at a fundraising event for the Highland Hospital Foundation on Aug. 1.

The event, entitled “Inside the Huddle with Tony Caridi,” is an in-depth look at the WVU football program. Caridi will discuss various topics, including a 2012 season review, emerging leaders on the team, the Big 12 Conference, freshman impact players and coaching staff.

The event will occur at 5:30 p.m. at the Charleston Civic Center. Attendees should wear gameday gear. Tailgate food and beverages will be available.

Cost is $75 per person or two for $100. A reserved table of 10 is available for $750. A blue table of 10 costs $1,000, and a gold table of 10 will set you back $2,000.

All proceeds will support the new Highland Hospital.
