Devil Dash this Saturday

OAK HILL — Collins Middle School believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle in the school and community.

The public is invited to participate in The Devil Dash, a 5-K run or walk. The event will take place on the White Oak Rail Trail on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 9 a.m.

Participants will join together at Collins Middle School.

The project is being coordinated by CMS physical education teacher Joe Gutshall, who firmly believes that physical well-being is essential for academic success.

The Devil Dash is one way the community can get involved in a healthy activity, Gutshall says.

Local merchants who support the Devil Dash have donated prizes.

Participation drawings will be held after the race.
