Class A No. 7 Valley jumped out to a 38-25 lead and never looked back, knocking off Sissonville Tuesday.

Zac Warden led the Greyhounds with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Henry Barron-Houchins added 22 points.

Raeshawn Breckenridge scored 13 and handed out six assists for the ’Hounds (18-3).

Sissonville was led by Blake Newhouse with 17 and Chance Brown with 16.

Valley travels to Buffalo Friday.

Javonne Staunton-Bailey scored 19 points and Elisha Kidd added 18 as Class A No. 4 Greater Beckley Christian breezed past host Midland Trail Tuesday.

Isaiah Francis followed with 15 and Joseph Cornett 11 for the Crusaders (15-5).

Trail (7-13) got 18 points and six rebounds from Rickie Carter. Collin Carte added 12 points and Cyrus Jackson had nine points and three steals for the Patriots, who close out their regular season Thursday at home versus Richwood.

On Monday, Class A No. 7 Valley defeated host Fayetteville 58-41.

Henry Barron-Houchins scored 16 points, Druw Bowen added 12 and Zac Warden had 10 for the Greyhounds (17-3), who hosted Sissonville last night.

Will Dooley had 12 points and Timmy Holster 11 for the Pirates (5-15), who visit Nicholas County at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Greyhounds are slated to travel to Buffalo Friday to end the regular season.
