Wildcats whip Summers 75-56; Valley girls nip Fayetteville

Junior guard Logan Pomeroy poured in a game-high 26 points as the host Meadow Bridge Wildcats handed Summers County its first loss of the season Tuesday.

Cody White added 19 points for the Wildcats and Kaleb Farr scored 10.

TaRon Ayers and T.J. Smith led the Bobcats with 16 points apiece.

Meadow Bridge plays Sherman Saturday in the Hoops Classic at the Charleston Civic Center. Summers County hosts Wyoming East Friday.

Three players provided double-digit scoring as the Greyhound boys improved to 2-0 Tuesday. Cody Winter and Zac Warden scored 17 points each and Raeshawn Breckenridge added 10 points. Winter had four 3-point goals.

For the Tide (3-2), Blake Brewer scored 16 and Cody Muncy 14.

Valley faces Mount View at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 in the Sissonville Christmas Tournament.

Sherman will play Meadow Bridge at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22 in the Hoops Classic at the Charleston Civic Center.
