Meadow Bridge, Trail earn victories

Jake Parker exploded for 361 yards on 48 carries, scoring four touchdowns in the process, to lead the unbeaten, Class A No. 3 Wildcats at home Friday.

Parker had touchdown runs of 9, 52, 2 and 30 yards. Also for the Wildcats (5-0), Cody White caught a 37-yard TD pass from Shane Harless.

White led the Meadow Bridge defense with 12 tackles.

Logan Raines ran for 158 yards for Pendleton.

Meadow Bridge hosts No. 2 Valley Friday.

Jake Grimmett ran for 187 yards and passed for 50 more to lead the Patriots past the Bulldogs Friday.

Grimmett scored on runs of 2 and 7 yards, and also had a 34-yard interception return and a 14-yard pass to Devon Steele for scores. Garrett Coleman gained 58 yards and supplied a 1-yard TD, and Ryan Wilson kicked a 27-yard field goal.

The Patriots’ defense held the Bulldogs to 75 yards rushing.

Trail (3-2) will host Montcalm Friday.
