Little Stars Basketball Camp planned at WVU Tech

MONTGOMERY —  WVU Tech men’s basketball head coach Bob Williams has announced plans to hold the 2014 Little Stars Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 June 9-13 at the Baisi Athletic Center.

The camp will feature thorough instruction on the fundamentals of basketball as well as team play (3-on-3 and 5-on-5) according to age and individual experience level.

Attendees will receive a camp ball, trophy, T-shirt, photo and evaluation. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in competitions such as foul shooting and a 3-point contest for prizes

Cost of the camp is $120 per camper (lunch not included).

Lunch is $3 per day or campers can bring their own lunch. If buying, pizza, hot dogs or McDonald’s will be served.

Campers should plan to arrive at 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with camp ending daily at 3 p.m. On Friday, the schedule will be 9 a.m. to noon, with the awards ceremony beginning at 11:45 a.m. If needed, early drop-off of 8 a.m. and late pick-up of 4 p.m. will be available.

All checks are asked to be made out to WVU Tech Men’s Basketball.
