Former WVU standout Da’Sean Butler will host his first basketball camp this summer.
During his senior season, the Mountaineers won the Big East Tournament and made it to the NCAA Final Four. Since graduating, he was drafted 42nd overall by the Miami Heat and has spent time with the San Antonio Spurs.
The camp will be held at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown. Friday, Aug. 3 will offer instruction for children under-13 and registration is $100 per athlete. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 4-5 will be for children 13-and-over, with registration being $175.
Butler and other former Mountaineers and professionals will offer instruction at the camps. Campers will participate in daily games, stations and skills contests. They will receive a camp T-shirt, other camp prizes and lunch each day.
