West Virginia state cruiserweight champion Bobby Thomas, Jr. (12-1, 9 KOs), of Oak Hill, defeated Warren “Hitman” Browning (17-2, 10 KO), of Lenore, with a second-round TKO at the Big Sandy Arena in Huntington last Saturday night.
The bout was the featured pro boxing bout on the 25th annual Tri-State Toughman Contest card.
The event was promoted by West Virginia Sports Promotions, Inc.
Thomas is next scheduled to fight in Parkersburg on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the PHS Memorial Field House, according to promoter Jerry Thomas.
