The Oak Hill 11-12-year-old all-stars were undefeated in baseball pool play and advanced to the District 4 championship. Games are being played in Beckley through July 15. The schedule is available at http://www.eteamz.com/wvd4ll/handouts/.
On July 10, Oak Hill posted a 10-0 win over Fayetteville, and on the next day the Red Devils eked out a 10-9 decision over Sophia in a 12-inning contest.
Team members include: Joey Lokant, uniform No. 1; Aaron Tincher, 5; Nathaniel Workman, 8; Noah Miller, 12; Jacob Crouch, 13; Derek Bloomfield, 21; Jordan Gray, 23; Nicholas Price, 25; Ricky Epperly, 31; Austin Harler, 34; Shawn Snuffer, 39; and Colby Gray, 43.
Manager is Mark Bloomfield, and coach is Wayne Epperly.
Oak Hill was slated to play Princeton yesterday.
