North American Youth Sports still has several remaining openings in its annual spring youth basketball tournament at George Washington High School on March 22-24.
This tournament will feature 10 different brackets. They include 5th-6th grade boys; 5th-6th grade girls; 7th grade boys; 7th grade girls; 8th grade boys; 8th grade girls; 9th-10th grade boys; 9th-10th grade girls; 11th-12th grade boys; and 11th-12th grade girls. All grades are based on the grade in which a student is currently enrolled.
The entry fee is $110 and guarantees each team a minimum of two games. There will be awards presented in each bracket.
The entry deadline is March 1.
NAYS also has openings for an event in Ripley on April 5-7.

Coaches at the college, high school, junior varsity, junior high and recreational league (adult or youth) levels are urged to submit game results and updated statistics to The Fayette Tribune.
When turning in scores or statistics, coaches/statisticians are reminded to provide at least last names of participants; information will not be accepted with only the first name.
When they are available, spring sports schedules and rosters can be submitted.
