The junior varsity defeated Shady Spring 1-0 in game shortened to one half by darkness.

Mason Richardson had one save for CMS (6-0).

The Little Devils (6-0-1) have a road game at Eastern Greenbrier on Monday, Oct. 8.

“We have had a very successful season so far,” said Collins coach Jeff Jones. “But, (we) have a few big tests ahead, with Eastern Greenbrier, Park and Shady on the road and Ansted and Bluefield at home.

“Hopefully we can carry our early season success forward and finish strong down the stretch.”
