Collins booters stay unbeaten

— Both Collins Middle School soccer teams defeated Shady Spring Monday night on the road to remain unbeaten in 2012.

The Little Devils varsity won by a 5-1 count to improve to 8-0-2.

A hat trick of three goals by Andrew Hardman led the scoring, and teammate Blake Wingrove supplied the other two goals.

Lilly Hines and Nick Forren had one assist each.

For the CMS defense, Jared Richards had two saves and Julia Ivey one.

In running their record to 8-0, the junior varsity Little Devils won 6-1.

Tanner Harris netted a trio of goals to pace the offensive attack. Dylan Massey contributed two goals and Tristan Bragg had one.

Bragg (two), Massey, Maddy Surface, River Terry and Emily Reeves provided assists.

Mason Richardson and Isaiah Turner had one save apiece

Collins was slated to play its final home game against Bluefield Wednesday night.
