Junior Trey Phares surrendered just one hit and struck out 12 Lumberjacks to lead the Pirates to a 20-0 home baseball victory Wednesday.

Jake Cogar had two hits for Fayetteville, while Troy Farrell and Tyler McKinney each had a double in the win.

Aaron Krise scored three times for the Pirates (1-2).

Mike Campbell had the lone hit for Richwood.

Michelle Snodgress smacked a two-run homer and a double and Sierra Richmond added a double, a triple and four RBI as the Lady Tigers rolled past Fayetteville on the softball diamond Wednesday.

Mackenzie Milam added a double and three RBI for Shady Spring.

Ashley Gilkerson and Kaitlyn Sisler had one hit apiece for the Lady Pirates.
