Mega Pro Wrestling plans Friday show in Falls View

FALLS VIEW — Mega Pro Wrestling plans the first of a series of wrestling shows this Friday, March 28 at the Falls View Community Center (former Falls View School).

According to promoter Chris Hughes, the Legends of Wrestling show will be staged with a bell time of 7:30 p.m. Friday. Wrestlers such as Kevin Sullivan, The Barbarian and Fantastic Bobby Fulton are scheduled to join with others, including Tommy Gibson, Mega Pro champion Eric Steel, Jason Kincaid, Kevin Tyler and Eric Darkstorm, to create the evening’s action.

Besides earlier matches, the evening will feature a battle royal, during which the winner will secure a title shot against Steel, the current champ. Also, the legends will compete in a four-man tournament, with the winner advancing to the Final Four at Falls View in July.

Tickets cost as follows: Front row, $15; general admission, $10, and children 5-12, $5.

A VIP meet-and-greet will be staged from 6 to 6:30 p.m. For a $10 fee above the front row ticket price, people can get a photo and an autograph from the stars, in addition to sitting in the first two rows when the action starts.

Monthly shows are also scheduled at Falls View in April, May and June, Hughes said.
