Trick-or-treat hours announced

Following is a list of hours for observance of Halloween trick-or-treating:



Fayette County

-- Ansted — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., ages 12 and under

-- Fayetteville — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., ages 12 and under

-- Gauley Bridge — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., ages 12 and under

-- Meadow Bridge — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

-- Montgomery — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., ages 12 and under

-- Mount Hope — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., ages 12 and under

-- Oak Hill — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.; limited to children 12 and younger.

-- Pax — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., limited to children 12 and younger; participating residents should leave porch light on.

-- Smithers — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., ages 12 and under

-- Unincorporated areas — abide by the date and time of the town nearest your location.



Nicholas County

-- Richwood — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

-- Summersville — Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., block party with activities will set up on the courthouse lawn for children and adults.
