Kesler/Kessler — The descendants of Peter Kesler, originally from Germany, will meet for the 60th annual Kesler/Kessler Reunion at the Kesler Memorial Presbyterian Church at Clifty on Sunday Road in Hico. Layland Reunion — The Layland Reunion will be held on Sunday, July 19, at Washington-Carver Camp. MHS Class of 1956 — The Montgomery High School Class of 1956 has planned a class reunion for Oct. 23-24, to coincide with the All Years MHS Reunion being held the same weekend. On Friday, Oct. 23, the MHS Class of 1956 will meet at 6:30 p.m. for dinner at the Texas Steakhouse in the Southridge Centre shopping and dining complex located five miles south via Hwy 119 from downtown Charleston. On Saturday, Oct. 24, the Class of 1956 will attend the MHS All-Years Reunion at the Valley High School in Smithers. Classmates from near and far who want to arrive a day early on Thursday, Oct. 22, will meet in the lobby of the Hampton Inn Southridge at 6:30 p.m. and carpool to dinner at a restaurant to be determined.
