Drug charges were filed against an Ansted man over the weekend, according to Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley.

During the evening on Saturday, July 17, a Fayette County Sheriff's Department deputy stopped a vehicle on Sunday Road in Hico for an infraction. A subsequent search yielded multiple individually-packaged units of marijuana and methamphetamines. The deputy also located a large amount of currency.

Jeremy Holstine was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver narcotics.
