A change in the season brings change in the local national parks too. Autumn ranger programs continue, but there will be some changes to park visitor centers’ hours of operation.
Starting today, the Canyon Rim Visitor Center in Lansing and the Sandstone Visitor Center in Sandstone remain open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., while the Thurmond Depot and Grandview visitor centers will now operate weekends only for the remainder of September and October.
Thurmond Depot Visitor Center will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Grandview Visitor Center from noon to 5 p.m.
