The annual Fayette Toy Fund campaign is in full swing, and organizers are working with local businesses to make it easier for local residents to provide support.

A number of local businesses will accept new toys and stuffed animals for the Toy Fund, which annually provides Christmas gifts and stockings for hundreds of Fayette County children who otherwise might go without, according to organizer Paquita Sarver.

Drop off points for the Toy Fund include:

-- Chase Bank, Oak Hill location, 215 Main Street, Oak Hill;

-- Bank of Mount Hope, 815 East Main Street, Oak Hill;

-- Bank of Mount Hope, 602 Main Street, Mount Hope; and

-- Senior Circle, Oak Hill, Main Street, next to Oak Hill Library.

Boxes also are located in the Dollar General Store at Fayette Square in Oak Hill, and the Dollar Tree at Bypass Plaza in Beckley for those who would like to purchase items there and donate them.

Monetary donations also are accepted, and may be mailed to Chase Bank, 215 Main Street, Oak Hill, WV 25901; or to Kathryn Lancianese, 13 N. Michigan Ave., Mount Hope, WV 25880. Lancianese is the project’s founder.

Anyone who would like to donate to help with the annual Fayette Toy Fund party, or who has more questions, may contact Sarver at 304-465-5159, or Lancianese at 304-877-6989.
