Leonard Farrow amassed 223 yards and five touchdowns on the ground to lead visiting Oak Hill to a 47-26 high school football victory over Ripley Friday night.
Farrow continued a stellar season by scoring on runs covering 75, 18, 7, 14 and 3 yards. He ran 15 times for an average of 14.9 yards per carry.
Oak Hill quarterback Jacob Ward completed all six of his passing attempts for 132 yards and two touchdowns, one to Ethan Vargo-Thomas (36 yards) and the other to Braxton Hall (25).
Class AAA No. 22 Oak Hill (2-3), which snapped a two-game losing skid, will host Class AAA No. 7 Cabell Midland (4-1) on Friday at 7 p.m.
In other games this coming Friday, Midland Trail and Meadow Bridge return to the gridiron after being idle.
The Class A No. 21 Patriots (2-1) are slated to host Class AA co-No. 8 Nicholas County (3-1) on Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Midland Trail last played on Sept. 10, a 33-0 defeat of Meadow Bridge.
Class A No. 28 Meadow Bridge (1-2) will host a rival, Class A co-No. 11 Greenbrier West, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats most recently played on Sept. 17, coming up on the short end of a 50-12 verdict at James Monroe.
Riding a three-game winning streak, the Cavaliers defeated Webster County, 58-6, on Sept. 17.
