Oak Hill pitcher Brad Lokant had 12 strikeouts in his team's 10-1 win over visiting Princeton on Wednesday, April 28.
Lokant scattered five hits and held the Tigers to an earned run.
Zane Wolfe was 3-for-4 with one RBI, and Ty Nelson drove in two runs for the Red Devils (3-2). Jayden McLain and Trenton Rider were both 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Oak Hill is scheduled to host Shady Spring at 6 p.m. on May 7.

Visiting Oak Hill led 11-1 after two innings on its way to a 15-1 softball victory in five innings over Princeton on Monday, May 3.
Brooke Spangler was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs to lead the Red Devil offense, and she earned the complete-game pitching win by scattering four hits and fanning four.
Also for Oak Hill (2-5), Kylie Pelkey was 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI, and Kaylee Mann (3-for-5) and Rachel Peelish drove in two runs apiece.
Emma Johnson was 2-for-2 for the Tigers.
Oak Hill (2-5) will host Greater Beckley Christian on Thursday.

In a softball contest on April 30, the Patriots built up a 5-1 cushion through four innings and held off a late push from the host Red Devils, 8-6.
George Washington was led by Passion Holley, who was 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBIs. Ana Jimenez was 4-for-5, and Addisyn Kelly belted a solo homer.
Madeleine Smith (eight strikeouts) earned the pitching win with relief help from Jimenez.
For the Red Devils, Kylie Pelkey was 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and one RBI. Haylee Byers was 3-for-3 with an RBI, Brooke Linkswiler had two doubles and drove in a pair of runs in four at-bats, and Kaylee Mann and Skylar Richards knocked in a run each.
On the mound, Byers struck out eight and yielded 15 hits and six earned runs for Oak Hill.
Oak Hill (1-5) committed four errors.

Jessie Lilly struck out eight and Woodrow Wilson scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Midland Trail, 2-1, in a high school softball game on April 27.
Kayla Bird was 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI, and Ava Mullins doubled twice and drove in two runs.
Emmie Lopetrone absorbed the tough loss in a 10-strikeout performance. She was also 2-for-3 with a double and drove in Trail's lone run.
Midland Trail is slated to entertain Princeton at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Oak Hill baseball squad scored four runs in the fifth inning and defeated host Shady Spring, 6-3, on April 27.
Freshman Trenton Rider picked up the win for the Red Devils, striking out five while allowing four hits and three runs over five innings.
Braxton Hall doubled and drove in two runs for Oak Hill. Zane Wolfe, Ty Nelson and Connor Roberts also drove in a run.
Mason Palmateer homered and Tyler Mackey smacked a double for the Tigers.

Griffin Boggs was 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and three runs batted in as Midland Trail defeated Richwood, 15-1, in a five-inning baseball affair on April 29.
Also for Midland Trail (4-1), Bo Persinger (2-for-3) drove in three runs, and Cy Persinger tripled and doubled and knocked in a run.
Cade Kincaid limited the Lumberjacks to one hit and struck out seven over three innings for the win. He and teammate Cody Harrell also knocked in a pair of runs.
Midland Trail later added a 9-4 win over Charleston Catholic and a 13-0 loss at Independence. The Patriots are scheduled play at Nicholas County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 6.
