Midland Trail’s Indy Eades recently placed seventh in the West Virginia Class A state golf championships.

Earlier this month, Midland Trail senior Indy Eades placed seventh in the Class A state golf tournament in Wheeling, which earned him first-team all-state designation.

Indy’s father and coach, Jeff Eades, says his son has attracted interest from several colleges to play golf at the next level.

“Indy has decisions to make, but no matter where he goes to further his education, he does want to play competitive golf,” said Jeff Eades.

St. Marys in Class A, Shady Spring in Class AA and Wheeling Park in Class AAA won team titles.

Shady Spring’s Todd Duncan was the individual champion in the double-A ranks.

Oak Hill’s Jack Hayes competed in the Class AAA tournament.
