Following are recent baseball game reports from information provided to The Fayette Tribune:

Charleston Catholic 11

Oak Hill 8

The visiting Irish rallied with seven big runs in the top of the seventh to erase a 7-4 deficit and gain an 11-8 victory over Oak Hill Wednesday.

J.W. Armstrong was 2-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs to power the Catholic attack. Marshall Pile was 3-for-5 with a double and one RBI, and Thomas Blaydes was 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI. Thomas Rennie and Will Strickland each drove in a run.

For the Red Devils, Zane Wolfe was 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI, Jonathan Lyons was 2-for-4 and knocked in three runs, and Lane Jordan was 2-for-3 with a double. Bradley Lokant and Nathan Bloomfield both drove in a run.

Oak Hill (8-6) will host Winfield at 6 p.m. Thursday. The Red Devils visit Gilmer County on Friday.

Fayetteville 13

Richwood 2

A seven-run fourth inning propelled the Pirates to the road victory Wednesday over the Lumberjacks. It was Fayetteville's third straight win.

Jordan Dempsey was 3-for-4 with one RBI, three runs and four stolen bases for Fayetteville. Max Holland was 2-for-3 with four RBIs and three steals, and Logan Frantz was 3-for-4 with a double, three steals and two RBIs. Also, Hunter Rinehart had a two-bagger and an RBI, Jeffrey McKnight stole three bases and drove in a run, Nick Milam had two steals and one RBI, and Timmy Bell drove in three runs and swiped two bases.

Frantz was the winning pitcher with relief aid from Rinehart.

B. Gifford was 1-for-1 for Richwood.

Oak Hill 8

Independence 5

Oak Hill built up an 8-2 lead and withstood a three-run Independence burst in the bottom of the seventh frame Tuesday to capture its fourth straight win.

Preston Legg was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored to pace the attack for the Red Devils. Caleb Jones was 2-for-4, and Zane Wolfe delivered a double and drove in three runs. Lane Jordan and Ty Nelson each had a base hit and drove in a run, and Jonathan Lyons, Logan Lawhorn and Nathan Bloomfield added a base hit apiece.

Jones struck out eight in five innings for the pitching win. Wolfe pitched the final two innings in relief, fanning four.

Fayetteville 8

Nicholas County 7

Logan Frantz's double in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday plated three runs and handed the host Pirates an 8-7 victory over the Nicholas County Grizzlies.

The Pirates (3-3) entered the home half of the seventh trailing 7-4.

On the evening, Frantz had two doubles in four at-bats, driving in four runs. Jordan Dempsey was 2-for-2 with a double, one RBI and three runs scored. Max Holland drove in two runs and scored a run, Seth McCarraher scored twice, and Eli Selvey and Timmy Bell each scored a run.

Rylee Nicholas hit a solo home run for Nicholas County. Derrick Mullins was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, and Andrew Hughes was 2-for-4 with a double.

McCarraher went the distance to gain the pitching win.

Fayetteville is slated to host Richwood Friday at 5 p.m.

Fayetteville 10

Greenbrier West 0

Timmy Bell hurled a two-hit shutout and Fayetteville got several productive offensive efforts in blanking Greenbrier West 10-0 on Monday.

Jordan Dempsey, Max Holland, Hunter Rinehart and Logan Frantz provided multi-hit efforts for Fayetteville. Dempsey was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs, Holland was 3-for-4 with one RBI and two runs, Rinehart was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Frantz was 3-for-3 with a two-bagger and one RBI.

Bell, Seth McCarraher and Eli Selvey each drove in a run, and Jeffrey McKnight scored twice.

Dempsey, Holland and McKnight stole two bases apiece.

John Parks had both of the Cavaliers’ hits.

Princeton 3

Visiting Oak Hill pushed across three runs in the top of the sixth inning Monday to secure a 5-3 win over Princeton.

Logan Lawhorn had a home run and three RBIs to lead the Oak Hill offense. Lane Jordan was 2-for-3, Jonathan Lyons (RBI) and Zane Wolfe were both 1-for-4, and Preston Legg was 1-for-3.

For the Tigers, Zach Powell was 2-for-4 and Kyle Neal drove in a pair of runs.

Jordan earned the win on the mound, as he and Tyreece Nelson both pitched in relief of starter Bradley Lokant, who fanned three and surrendered no earned runs in his stint.

Oak Hill 12

Fayetteville 0

On Saturday, Oak Hill posted a 12-0 shutout of Fayetteville.

Zane Wolfe (2-for-3), Jonathan Lyons (1-for-1), Ty Nelson (2-for-2) and Bradley Lokant (1-for-2) had two RBIs apiece for the Red Devils. Preston Legg and Logan Lawhorn drove in one run each.

Wolfe struck out seven and limited the Pirates to one hit in five innings for the win.

Jeffrey McKnight had Fayetteville's lone base knock.

Oak Hill 10

Westside 2

On March 29, the Red Devils pounded out 12 hits en route to the victory over Westside.

Zane Wolfe was 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for the Devils. Bradley Lokant went 2-for-4 and knocked in two runs, and Lane Jordan, Logan Lawhorn, Tyreece Nelson, Nathan Bloomfield and Preston Legg (2-for-4) drove in one run apiece.

Legg and Caleb Jones combined to limit the Renegades to one hit, and each struck out three batters.
