The 2017 Active SWV Bridge Day 5-K was conducted Saturday as part of the 38th annual Bridge Day festival.

All told, there were 207 finishers in the 3.1-mile race staged by Active Southern West Virginia.

Wade Gerencser, of Chandler, Ariz., was the overall winner in 18 minutes, 49.3 seconds. In second place overall and capturing first-place women's honors was Allison Meadows, of Westerville, Ohio, who clocked a 20:02.1.
