Girls who are interested in playing soccer for Oak Hill High School next year are urged to contact coach Steve Hudson at 469-9951 as soon as possible.

The New River Health School-Based Health Program will provide sports physicals for all Fayette County students at the following locations:

-- Oak Hill High School Wellness Center — June 25-27 and July 19-August 2;

-- Mount Hope Elementary School-Based Health Center — Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer; and

-- Midland Trail High School — July 23-27.

In order to receive a physical, call 465-1378 to schedule an appointment. Billing information will be discussed at this time.

The Oak Hill Midget Football League will conduct football player registration on several upcoming Saturdays.

Sign-ups will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on June 23 and 30 and July 7, 14 and 21 at the old fieldhouse on Central Avenue.

Potential participants must provide a birth certificate and pay a $25 fee.

Coaches and/or statisticians at the college, high school, junior varsity, junior high and recreational league (adult or youth) levels can submit game results and updated statistics to The Fayette Tribune.
